STUDENT ABSENCE. If CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic agency, it shall notify LEA of the absence of an LEA student no later than the fifth consecutive service day of the student’s absence, as specified in the LEA Procedures. ▇▇▇ shall not be responsible for the payment of services when a student is absent.
STUDENT ABSENCE. 60.2.1 If CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic school, no later than the tenth (10th) cumulative day or fifth (5th) consecutive day of a student’s unexcused absence, CONTRACTOR shall notify the LEA of such absence as specified in the LEA Procedures.
60.2.2 Criteria for a billable day for payment purposes is one (1) day of attendance as defined in California Education Code, sections 46010, 46010.3 and 46307. ▇▇▇ shall not pay for services provided on days that a student’s attendance does not qualify for Average Daily Attendance (ADA) reimbursement under state law. Per Diem rates for students whose IEPs authorize less than a full instructional day may be adjusted on a pro rata basis in accordance with the actual proportion of the school day the student was served. ▇▇▇ shall not be responsible for payment of related services for days on which a student’s attendance does not qualify for Average Daily Attendance (“ADA”) reimbursement under state law, nor shall student be eligible for make-up services.
STUDENT ABSENCE. If the student assigned to a specific employee is absent, the District will assign that employee to other work appropriate to their role as a paraeducator including but not limited to: managing and maintaining records, materials and equipment; attending to the physical needs of children; and/or performing other limited services to support teaching duties when such duties are determined and directed by the teacher.
STUDENT ABSENCE. When an employee is assigned to a one-on-one position with a student and that student is absent, the employee shall be assigned other duties within classification. With mutual agreement between the supervisor and employee, the employee may be granted leave without pay.

A student is allowed to miss no more than four consecutive sessions without just cause, before being dismissed from the program. Billing for this student shall cease after the fourth missed session. The student will be allowed no more than ten missed sessions for the entire length of the program before being dismissed from the program. Billing shall cease after the tenth missed session.
STUDENT ABSENCE. For the Youth and Teen Center, it is not necessary to inform us if your child will not be attending the program for the day, however, please do let us know when your child will be out for extended absences- such as sickness, emergency leave, or if you are PCSing. • (YOUTH SPORTS & INSTRUCTIONALS ONLY) Please inform the coach/instructor if you will be missing any class/practice. • Refunds will not be given for student absences.

If a student is to be absent for any reason (including school events such as excursions and camps) it is up to the parent/caregiver/student to contact the Instrumental Teacher, no later than 6.00pm the day before the scheduled lesson via a phone call or SMS. There is no obligation to make up or refund lesson fees if insufficient notification has been given. As stated, fees are payable in advance. If students miss a lesson the lesson will be forfeited unless prior notice has been given to the instrumental tutor (no later 6.00pm on the day before the lesson). If sufficient notice of expected absence is provided, then a lesson will either be rescheduled or reimbursed at the discretion of the Instrumental teacher. (The student will be expected to accommodate any reasonable offer made by the teacher. This could include two 45-minute lessons over 2 weeks or 2 lessons on the same day.) Please note the following conditions for missed lessons: • Lessons missed due to student absence are not required to be made up by the instrumental teacher if the above notification procedure has not been followed • Lessons missed due to family holidays are not required to be made up by the instrumental teacher • Lessons missed due to calendared events (such as sports days, excursions, workshops etc.) will be made up by the instrumental teacher. • If the instrumental teacher is absent, the teacher is responsible for making up the missed lesson. • Any lessons owing at the end of a semester will be credited to your next instrumental tuition invoice. It is essential that each student is organised in advance under the direction of parents and that families check their diary and the school calendar for upcoming events to look out for potential clashes with the instrumental lessons (i.e. excursions, tests, etc). Lessons will not be scheduled for whole school events such as Athletics Day and the College Swimming Carnival.

STUDENT ABSENCE. Other than as set out in this Agreement, credits for or refunds of fees will not be provided by DRSS and fees will not be pro rata or not levied in the event that the student is absent from DRSS at the beginning of any Term or the student’s departure from DRSS before the end of any Term. However, students enrolling during the school year will be charged Tuition Fees on a pro-rata basis. No reduction in fees is available for absences of less than one full term. For absences of one full term or more, application for a reduction in fees should be made in writing to the Business Manager. Parents may be eligible to a pro-rata adjustment to fees in the event of a student being absent through extended illness or accident. An application for reduction is subject to the production of an appropriate medical certificate and at the sole discretion of the Business Manager.
