Common use of Student Status Clause in Contracts

Student Status. 10.1 All students shall be registered by the Institution with the University for award purposes only in accordance with the University’s procedures and requirements as set out in the Handbook or otherwise sent by the University to the Institution and with the Institution for all other purposes. 10.2 Registration with the University will not itself allow students access to the University’s resources. 10.3 The Institution shall be responsible for all aspects of student welfare and the student experience whilst undertaking a Validated Programme. 10.4 The University will not be liable if the Institution fails to meet its requirements regarding standards and this leads to the withdrawal of Approval or Validation by the University. The Institution shall indemnify and keep the University indemnified against all claims, costs and expenses that may be instituted or made by students against the University as a result of such withdrawal.
