SUBCONTRACTS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES. Engineering firms must certify that they are authorized to do business in the state of Washington and are in full compliance with the requirements of the Board of Professional Registration. The Grantee shall require that engineering services providers be covered by errors and omissions insurance. The engineering firm shall maintain minimum limits of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence to cover all activities by the engineering firm and licensed staff employed or under contract to the engineering firm. The state of Washington, its agents, officers, and employees need not be named as additional insureds under this policy.

SUBCONTRACTS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES. In the event that the Grantee subcontracts for engineering services, the Grantee will require that the engineering firm certify that it is authorized to do business in the State of Alaska.
SUBCONTRACTS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES. In the event that Subgrantee subcontracts for engineering services, Subgrantee shall require that the engineering firm be covered by errors and omissions insurance in an amount not less than the amount of the firm’s contract. If the firm is unable to obtain errors and omissions insurance, the firm shall post a bond with Subgrantee for the benefit of Subgrantee of not less than the amount of its subcontract. Such insurance or bond shall remain in effect for the entire term of the subcontract. The subcontract shall provide that cancellation or lapse of the bond or insurance during the term of the contract termination. Subgrantee shall cause the subcontractor to provide it with a thirty (30) day notice of cancellation issued by the insurance company.

The subcontract shall provide that cancellation or lapse of the bond or insurance during the term of the subcontract shall constitute a material breach of the subcontract and cause for subcontract termination. The SUBRECIPIENT shall cause the subcontractor to provide it with a 30 day notice of cancellation issued by the insurance company.

Subcontracts, and any service provider agreements entered into by Party in connection with the performance of this Agreement, must clearly specify in writing the responsibilities of the subcontractor or other service provider and Party must retain the authority to revoke its subcontract or service provider agreement or to impose other sanctions if the performance of the subcontractor or service provider is inadequate or if its performance deviates from any requirement of this Agreement. Party shall make available on request all contracts, subcontracts and service provider agreements between the Party, subcontractors and other service providers to the Agency of Human Services and any of its departments as well as to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

  • Public Contracts for Services [Not applicable to agreements relating to the offer, issuance, or sale of securities, investment advisory services or fund management services, sponsored projects, intergovernmental agreements, or information technology services or products and services] Contractor certifies, warrants, and agrees that it does not knowingly employ or contract with a worker without authorization who will perform work under this Agreement and will confirm the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired for employment in the United States to perform work under this Agreement, through participation in the E-Verify Program or the Department program established pursuant to C.R.S. §8-17.5-102(5)(c). Contractor shall not knowingly employ or contract with a worker without authorization to perform work under this Agreement or enter into a contract with a subcontractor that fails to certify to Contractor that the subcontractor shall not knowingly employ or contract with a worker without authorization to perform work under this Agreement. Contractor (a) shall not use E-Verify Program or Department program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement is being performed, (b) shall notify the subcontractor and County within three days if Contractor has actual knowledge that a subcontractor is employing or contracting with a worker without authorization for work under this Agreement, (c) shall terminate the subcontract if a subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the worker without authorization within three days of receiving the notice, and (d) shall comply with reasonable requests made in the course of an investigation, undertaken pursuant to C.R.S. §8-17.5-102(5), by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. If Contractor participates in the Department program, Contractor shall deliver to County a written, notarized affirmation, affirming that Contractor has examined the legal work status of such employee, and shall comply with all of the other requirements of the Department program. If Contractor fails to comply with any requirement of this provision or C.R.S. §8-17.5-102 et seq., County may terminate this Agreement for breach and, if so terminated, Contractor shall be liable for damages.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS In compliance with Article 9, Section 230 of the New York State Labor Law:
