Summer School Assignments. 7 A. All applicants for summer school assignments shall be granted an interview in the case 8 that there are more applicants than there are available positions. 9 B. All tentative summer school assignments will be made by the District by the second 10 Friday in May, when possible. 11 C. Summer School Pay 12 1. Summer school employees shall be paid hourly based on a formula of one-eighth 13 (1/8) of the employee's per diem rate of pay multiplied by 1.15 for each hour of 14 instruction. 15 2. Employees hired for a session of three (3) weeks or less and who work the first 16 day of that session shall be paid for .5 at the employee’s per diem rate of pay for 17 preparation time above and beyond their commitment for summer school 18 classroom teaching.
