Common use of Sunday Work Clause in Contracts

Sunday Work. Any employee (other than a seven day shift worker) who is employed on a Sunday will for all time worked on that day be paid at the rate of double time. Provided that where, by agreement between the Company and the union and such agreement will not be unreasonably withheld shifts are rearranged to commence on Sunday instead of Monday ordinary rates will be paid for Sunday work.
