Common use of Superannuation, Long Service Leave, WorkCover and Redundancy Clause in Contracts

Superannuation, Long Service Leave, WorkCover and Redundancy. 16.1 All parties agree to cooperate and undertake the following responsibilities as appropriate for the purpose of seeking to ensure that the Connect/C+XXXX Superannuation Fund, the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act, the Accident Compensation Act and the PROTECT Redundancy Scheme (including Income Protection Policy) are observed. 16.1.1 The principal contractors (Company parties) shall inform their sub-contractors that at the time of entering contracts that the sub-contractor will be required to produce a certificate for his/her workers or other documentation from Connect/C+XXXX, the Victorian Construction Industry Long Service Leave Board, (trading as CoINVEST) the Accident Compensation Commission and the PROTECT Redundancy Scheme; which will confirm registration, the date of the last payment, the period for which that payment applies, and that payments have been made for the most recent period. 16.1.2 At the time of receiving the final contract payments, subcontractors will be required to certify to the principal contractor that they have fully complied with all of their obligations under Connect/C+XXXX, the Victorian Construction Industry Long Service Leave Board (trading as Co-INVEST), the Accident Compensation Commission, and the PROTECT Redundancy Scheme (including Income Protection Insurance).
