Superintendent’s Approval of Leaves. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is agreed that a leave of absence which is to begin or end during the school year must be approved by the Superintendent. Such approval shall be granted only in extraordinary circumstances. Subject to the foregoing, such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
