Common use of Supplementation of Workers' Compensation Payments Clause in Contracts

Supplementation of Workers' Compensation Payments. An employee prevented from performing his/her regular work with the Employer on account of an occupational accident that is recognized by WorkSafeBC as compensable within the meaning of the Compensation Act shall be able to access their sick leave bank in order to make up the difference between the amount payable by WorkSafeBC and his/her regular salary. Income Tax deductions will not be changed at source due to Workers' Compensation Benefit leaves.
