Syndromic Surveillance. Participants send syndromic surveillance data, meeting the State’s requirements for data governance, which is then submitted to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on behalf of Participants allowing to meet interoperability requirements. Training: CyncHealth offers training for interoperability tools, Direct Secure Messaging, and other HIE Services, as determined by CyncHealth. Community Referral System (SDOH): CyncHealth will support coordinated care designed to address social determinants of health utilizing interoperability standards and technology solutions when applicable.
Syndromic Surveillance. There is no expectation that Syndromic Surveillance messages will flow through the VHIE. VDH will transition to the BioSense system for Syndromic surveillance later in 2013 and hospitals will send their data directly to BioSense.
Syndromic Surveillance. At its cost, Franchisee shall furnish and operate through its dispatch center a syndromic bio-surveillance and regional data management system approved by the Fire Department.
