Data Governance. The Equipment governed by this Rental Agreement may be equipped with a wireless data communication system or similar system. In such case, Customer understands data reflecting the machine performance, condition, operation, and other information is being transmitted to WSECO and Caterpillar, Inc., to better serve the Customer and to improve upon WSECO’s and Caterpillar, Inc.’s products and services. Upon entering this Rental Agreement, Customer agrees to Western States Date Governance Statement, as set forth at Western States Terms & Conditions | Western States Cat, and the Caterpillar, Inc. The results of this work will be disseminated widely through traditional academic channels including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and teaching environments as well as more accessible channels such as social media, photography and videography, reporting on A SHARED Future’s website (xxxxxx.xxx/x-xxxxxx-xxxxxx/) and open- access publications. Program staff will notify all Programmatic Steering Committee members of new opportunities to share our research findings via our bi-monthly update. All Programmatic Steering Committee members are also encouraged to share this information widely across their respective networks.
