Common use of Teacher Certification Clause in Contracts

Teacher Certification. The teachers employed by or under contract to the School shall be certified or qualified, as required by Florida law. The School may employ or contract with skilled, selected non-certified personnel to provide instructional services or to assist instructional staff members as teacher’s aides in the manner set forth in s. 1012.55, Florida Statutes (2005), or as otherwise allowed by law. The School may not employ an individual to provide instructional services or to serve as a teacher’s aide if the individual’s certification or licensure as an educator is suspended or revoked by this or any other state.
