Adult Program. A. Any regular full-time employee may teach in the adult program, in addition to his/her regular employment, for a maximum of four nights per week, Monday through Friday. Employees shall be limited to teaching a maximum of 24 hours per week under the provisions of this Section. B. The Board agrees to hire part-time hourly instructional employees in adult education programs for the length of the course or the term of the Part-time Adult Education Teacher Contract, provided the enrollment meets and maintains the minimum required to support the class. Employees may only be terminated during the term if the class fails to maintain the minimum required enrollment or as a result of disciplinary action based upon just cause. Such employees will be eligible to participate in the Florida Retirement System and Social Security, according to the rules and regulations of the Florida Department of Administration, Division of Retirement.

Adult Program. 1. For individuals with severe or profound disabilities who need a program with minor emphasis on work skills training and employment, the staff ratios shall be based upon the needs of the individuals and shall have no more than six (6) individuals to one (1) direct service staff. 2. For individuals in a program emphasizing work skills training and employment, staffing ratios shall have no more than twelve (12) individuals to one (1) direct service staff. 3. For staff ratios identified in paragraphs 1 and 2 staff in the following adult services certification positions may be included: a. Habilitation Specialist b. Workshop Specialist II 4. The following positions may be included if their job descriptions reflect direct service similar to the direct services provided by positions listed in Section 4 d. as agreed to by the Board and ABEA. a. MCSD teachers shall be hired before other applicants outside the district are considered. Outside applicants will only be considered when no qualified employee (see section 5) is available.   • Pilot Programs The Employer may develop voluntary pilot programs to test the acceptability of various risk management programs. Incentives for participation in such programs may include limited short-term improvements to the benefits outlined in this Article. Implementation of such pilot programs is subject to the review and approval of the Joint Labor-Management Committee on Health Plans.

  • HEALTH PROGRAM 3701 Health examinations required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer and shall be at the expense of the Employer. 3702 Time off without loss of regular pay shall be allowed at a time determined by the Employer for such medical examinations and laboratory tests, provided that these are performed on the Employer’s premises, or at a facility designated by the Employer. 3703 With the approval of the Employer, a nurse may choose to be examined by a physician of her/his own choice, at her/his own expense, as long as the Employer receives a statement as to the fitness of the nurse from the physician. 3704 Time off for medical and dental examinations and/or treatments may be granted and such time off, including necessary travel time, shall be chargeable against accumulated income protection benefits.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Educational Program A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3). These characteristics are subject to modification with the District’s written approval:

  • In-Service Programs The parties to this collective agreement recognize the value of in-service education both to the employee and the Employer. A) The Employer reserves the right to identify specific in-service programs deemed compulsory. B) Employees required to attend such programs will be paid at the applicable rate of pay.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • E-Verify Program Grantee certifies that it utilizes and will continue to utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to determine the eligibility of: A. all persons employed to perform duties within Texas during the term of the Grant Agreement; and B. all persons, (including subcontractors) assigned by the Grantee to perform work pursuant to the Grant Agreement within the United States of America.

  • Retirement Program Any employee employed prior to October 1, 1977, working at least seventy (70) hours per month shall by law be a member of the Washington Public Employees Retirement system (PERS) Plan One. Any employee working at least seventy (70) hours per month, entering employment on or after October 1, 1977, shall by law be a member of the School Employees Retirement System, Plan Two or Three. The District shall provide each new employee information concerning PERS or SERS membership benefits.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.
