Teacher Preparation Day. Teacher preparation days are a component of the work calendar that enables a teacher to finish up work and prepare for instruction. These days are defined as those set aside in the school calendar for teacher directed activities with the exception of very brief (less than 40 minutes) meetings that may be necessary for conducting school related business and may not be used for extended staff meetings.
