Road Closure. If the school district remains open when a highway has been closed by the State Patrol and a teacher lives on that highway and has no means of coming to school that day, the district will provide one- half day district leave because of the closure. The employee will be responsible for the other half of the day if an entire day is missed by using a personal/sick day.

Road Closure. Period Dufferin will not close the road during the construction of Watt’s Pond Road under this agreement.

Road Closure. It was agreed during negotiations that in the event of a road closure, regularly scheduled hours not worked during the road closure period will be considered as time worked for the purpose of overtime calculation. It was agreed during negotiations that in the event of a road closure, employees not required to be on standby, and who are able to report to work during their scheduled shift hours in a reasonable time period after the road is opened, will be paid for all of their regular shift. Hours not worked will be paid at their basic rate of pay. Employees who do not report for work during their regular will not be paid for the shift but will not be penalized in any other way.

Road Closure. (a) All existing utilities within the road closure area shall be protected by easement or relocated at the developer's expense. (b) The applicant is responsible for all costs associated with the closure including all necessary physical construction, removal, rehabilitation, utility relocation, etc. (c) The closed road right-of-way is to be consolidated with the adjacent lands to the east.

Road Closure a. Previously NCE and Xxxx and Peers had prepared two-stage traffic handling plans with the intent to maintain one lane of travel on Xxxxxxx Road during construction. The Town subsequently made the decision to allow full closure of the road to allow for more efficient construction with the goal of reducing construction costs and duration. Xxxx and Peers Xxxx & Peers will prepare a detour plan for the proposed road closure of Xxxxxxx Road during construction for the recommended detour route via Blossom Hill Road, Camden Avenue, and Xxxxx Road for a 100% submittal and a final submittal. Xxxx and Peers will also conduct a review of the technical specifications to be used for the project. Cost: Xxxx and Peers $11,000 b. With a full road closure NCE will revise the pavement section to be Full Depth Reclamation for the entire roadway not just the west bound lane as previously planned. This will require revisions to pavement section, quantities, and specifications. Cost: NCE $1,500

Road Closure. A. Road closure must meet the standards identified by 11 AAC 95.320 of the Alaska Forest Resources and Practices Regulations. B. The first 300 feet of any temporary road constructed as part of this Agreement must be ripped with a dozer, overburden and debris pushed back over the road bed, and/or other actions necessary to make the road impassible as directed by the State of Alaska. C. Temporary roads designated by the State to remain open for recreational use will require berms, cables, or gates to restrict highway vehicle use.

Road Closure. Where due to inclement weather or other reason an employee is unable to attend for work due to closure of road(s) by the Police, or other body with the requisite authority to close roads, the following applies: (a) On determining he/she cannot get to the Mine the employee must phone the Mine at 00 0000 0000 or 00 0000 0000 (or any other number from time to time advised). (b) If the road is re-opened in time for the employee to arrive at the Mine before half way through the shift, the employee is required to attend for work as soon as possible after the road is opened and is paid for the shift as if he/she attended for the whole of the shift. (c) If the road is not reopened in time for the employee to arrive at the Mine before half way through the shift, the employee is not to attend for work. An employee not attending work due to road closure can elect to: (i) be paid as if he/she attended work and work a make-up shift within the next month on an agreed date and shift; or (ii) be recorded as unpaid absence; or (iii) take annual leave. (d) If an employee fails to attend for work at his/her normal shift start time (or at the earliest possible time in the first half of the shift) and incorrectly claims he/she was unable to get to work due to road closures, he/she is AWL. (e) If employees are in attendance at the Mine and the Mine Manager or the Senior Mine Official determines through close contact with emergency services, that road closure is imminent and emergency services will be unable to reach the Mine, the workforce will be withdrawn from the mine due to safety concerns. In this circumstance: (i) if an employee works less than half the shift they will be paid for hours worked with option to do a make up shift for the balance of the shift or take annual leave for the balance of the shift. (ii) if an employee works for more than half of the shift they will be paid as if at work for the whole shift.

Road Closure. In the event County or City roads are closed to operation of the Employer's buses due to the decision of the County or City engineer based on thaw conditions, the bus drivers shall remain available to return to work upon reasonable notice by the Employer. When a closure is announced for a definite period, drivers shall not be required to remain available during that period, provided that each driver shall notify the transportation supervisor if he plans to be unavailable during the time of his scheduled run. 4.7.1 In the event of road closures to school buses due to weather conditions, the Employer shall provide alternate employment at the employee's regular rate of pay for the same number of hours usually worked by each driver for those regular drivers who wish to be employed. Those who elect not to accept alternate employment shall not be paid during the closure. This employment shall be limited to a maximum of three (3) days per school year, during which time the bus drivers shall perform tasks that may be performed by members of the bargaining unit. The Employer shall assign the place, time, and nature of the work. Bus Mechanics who are unable to report to work on a school closure day will be allowed to select payment for the day from accrued emergency, personal, or vacation leave.

Road Closure. REQUESTER shall close the east bound lanes of 000xx Xxxxxx from March 30, 2017 to April 10, 2017. In order to re-open the east bound lanes by April 10, 2017, in accordance with REQUESTER’S Project schedule, REQUESTER shall begin its restoration work on April 6, 2017.

Road Closure. Any road or ‘significant lane’ closure of a limited duration provided for the purpose of a significant, non-ongoing construction activity (including but not limited to beam lifts, concrete pours, asphalt or crushed rock placement, traffic switches or utility relocations) but not including an ongoing road or lane closure. For clarity, a ‘significant lane’ closure would include a ‘one off’ closure which is of a temporary nature, but would not include an ongoing lane closure, such as one where concrete or steel barriers have been installed to separate works from traffic.
