Road Closure. If the school district remains open when a highway has been closed by the State Patrol and a teacher lives on that highway and has no means of coming to school that day, the district will provide one- half day district leave because of the closure. The employee will be responsible for the other half of the day if an entire day is missed by using a personal/sick day.
Road Closure. Period Dufferin will not close the road during the construction of Watt’s Pond Road under this agreement.
Road Closure. (a) All existing utilities within the road closure area shall be protected by easement or relocated at the developer's expense.
(b) The applicant is responsible for all costs associated with the closure including all necessary physical construction, removal, rehabilitation, utility relocation, etc.
(c) The closed road right-of-way is to be consolidated with the adjacent lands to the east.
Road Closure. It was agreed during negotiations that in the event of a road closure, regularly scheduled hours not worked during the road closure period will be considered as time worked for the purpose of overtime calculation. It was agreed during negotiations that in the event of a road closure, employees not required to be on standby, and who are able to report to work during their scheduled shift hours in a reasonable time period after the road is opened, will be paid for all of their regular shift. Hours not worked will be paid at their basic rate of pay. Employees who do not report for work during their regular shift will not be paid for the shift but will not be penalized in any other way.
Road Closure. Several older roads and trails in this area will require slashing, piling, and potential “Xxxxx-humps” to reduce public off road vehicle use.
Road Closure. A. Road closure must meet the standards identified by 11 AAC 95.320 of the Alaska Forest Resources and Practices Regulations.
B. The first 300 feet of any temporary road constructed as part of this Agreement must be ripped with a dozer, overburden and debris pushed back over the road bed, and/or other actions necessary to make the road impassible as directed by the State of Alaska.
C. Temporary roads designated by the State to remain open for recreational use will require berms, cables, or gates to restrict highway vehicle use.
Road Closure. In the event County or City roads are closed to operation of the Employer's buses due to the decision of the County or City engineer based on thaw conditions, the bus drivers shall remain available to return to work upon reasonable notice by the Employer. When a closure is announced for a definite period, drivers shall not be required to remain available during that period, provided that each driver shall notify the transportation supervisor if he plans to be unavailable during the time of his scheduled run.
4.7.1 In the event of road closures to school buses due to weather conditions, the Employer shall provide alternate employment at the employee's regular rate of pay for the same number of hours usually worked by each driver for those regular drivers who wish to be employed. Those who elect not to accept alternate employment shall not be paid during the closure. This employment shall be limited to a maximum of three (3) days per school year, during which time the bus drivers shall perform tasks that may be performed by members of the bargaining unit. The Employer shall assign the place, time, and nature of the work. Bus Mechanics who are unable to report to work on a school closure day will be allowed to select payment for the day from accrued emergency, personal, or vacation leave.
Road Closure. REQUESTER shall close the east bound lanes of 000xx Xxxxxx from March 30, 2017 to April 10, 2017. In order to re-open the east bound lanes by April 10, 2017, in accordance with REQUESTER’S Project schedule, REQUESTER shall begin its restoration work on April 6, 2017.
Road Closure a. Previously NCE and Xxxx and Peers had prepared two-stage traffic handling plans with the intent to maintain one lane of travel on Xxxxxxx Road during construction. The Town subsequently made the decision to allow full closure of the road to allow for more efficient construction with the goal of reducing construction costs and duration. Xxxx and Peers Xxxx & Peers will prepare a detour plan for the proposed road closure of Xxxxxxx Road during construction for the recommended detour route via Blossom Hill Road, Camden Avenue, and Xxxxx Road for a 100% submittal and a final submittal. Xxxx and Peers will also conduct a review of the technical specifications to be used for the project. Cost: Xxxx and Peers $11,000
b. With a full road closure NCE will revise the pavement section to be Full Depth Reclamation for the entire roadway not just the west bound lane as previously planned. This will require revisions to pavement section, quantities, and specifications. Cost: NCE $1,500
Road Closure a) Where a long term occasional teacher is prevented from travelling from his/her principal residence to his/her school by any road closure, the teacher shall suffer no loss in salary, benefits, experience, or sick leave and may be re-assigned at the Board’s discretion for the duration of the road closure. For further clarification, this clause does not preclude an occasional teacher from exercising their entitlements outlined in Articles 12.07 a) and c).
b) Where a Daily Occasional Teacher is prevented from traveling from his/her principal residence to his/her school by any road closure, such absence shall not be considered a break in consecutive days as outlined in
