TEACHER WORK YEAR AND WORK DAY. The Board and the Association recognize and agree that the teachers' responsibility to their students and their profession generally entails the performance of duties and the expenditure of time beyond the normal working day. Within regular school hours, teachers are entitled to defined work schedules on which they can rely. Schedules will be fairly and evenly maintained throughout the school system, except in emergencies.
