After School Activities. 6.7.1 Principals and staff of the building are to meet and determine the list of activities. Assignments are on a voluntary basis by seniority and/or assigned if sufficient numbers do not volunteer; provided, however, that such assignment shall not exceed one (1) activity in any school year. Any succeeding assignment shall be paid at per diem in half hour increments.
After School Activities. Open House, Back-To-School Night, Awards Night, Parent Conferences, Project Nights, New Student Orientation, Graduation and Advisory Board Meetings are recognized by both the Union County Vocational-Technical Schools Educational Association and the Union County Vocational-Technical Schools Board of Education as important activities to maintain the vitality and effectiveness of all the UCVTS education programs. Teaching and counseling staff are encouraged to cooperate with the school administration in these school activities, which enhance the operation of the school district.
After School Activities. All teachers in the district shall receive a complimentary pass to all high school athletic events. Passes issued are not transferable. Interested members are responsible for contacting the Athletic Director.
After School Activities. Each school, normally covered by a Police Officer, participates in annually recurring events that generally occur outside the normal school hours (After School Activities). Each School’s assigned Police Officer may be asked to attend certain After School Activities. The City authorizes the applicable Police Officers to attend After School Activities set forth in Attachment No. 1.
After School Activities. Teachers are required to attend the annual Open House for the life of this agreement, and participation in after-school activities such as P.T.A.
After School Activities. After school clubs and activities that are approved by the Board shall be paid at the rate of $900.00 for up to 36 hours. Activities compensated on an hourly rate shall be paid at $25.00 per hour. Payment to be made upon receipt of voucher. Vouchers to cover a minimum period of one (1) month. After School Activities. 11.5.1 Maintenance and custodial personnel shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half for opening and closing the building when their building has been authorized for use after school hours by the Board. If more than 500 people are expected to use the building during the activity, two maintenance and custodial personnel shall be required to work. If less than 500 people are expected, the principal may, in his/her discretion, discuss the possibility of using an additional maintenance and custodial personnel.
After School Activities. After-school activities not designated at route sign-up are offered on the hours board, and driver selected shall drive for the duration of the activity.
After School Activities. SERVICES FOR STUDENTS A number of extra-curricular clubs and/or enrichment activities are offered for students. A brochure describing these activities is available in the school office. Nominal fees may be charged for participation in order to cover the cost of materials and/or supplies. There is no better way for students to enrich their education than by taking part in clubs and after-school activities or through working with a teacher. These opportunities will allow you to explore things you already enjoy and to try other areas that sound interesting. In order to participate in any after school extra-curricular activity, including music performances, plays, etc., students must arrive in time to be counted present during the school day. Students serving in-school suspension may not participate in after school activities on the day(s) the suspension(s) is served. Students staying for after school activities will be expected to follow the following rules or they may be banned from all after school activities: • You may not stay after school to wait for another student. • You must be with a teacher or other staff member at all times. • You must abide by the OSES Code of Conduct while participating in the activity. • Your school activity privileges will be cancelled if discipline becomes a problem. • You must clear the school building immediately following after school activities. • You must arrange for your own transportation to arrive promptly at the end of the activity. • Written permission is required for use of OSES’s facilities. Students are not allowed on campus unless supervised by a school employee. Signing up for after school activities is required for each semester in order to be eligible to participate. Students with outstanding lunch or after care balances, will not be allowed to participate in any types of fund required extracurricular academic or non-academic activities/events (including field trips, competitions, clubs, and after school events).
