Common use of Telephone consultations Clause in Contracts

Telephone consultations. Time spent performing telephone consultations will be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the nurse’s regular rate of pay for the greater of one-half (1/2) hour per call or the duration of the call. Multiple calls on the same issue shall be limited to two (2) hours. If a call requires a nurse to report to the hospital, she shall receive only call back premium. Standby premium shall cease when the nurse is paid under this Article.

Standby premium shall cease when the nurse is paid under this Article. Employee’s can choose to bank telephone consultation hours in accordance with article 14.09.
