Salary Treatment. (a) Changes in job groupings as a result of the ongoing maintenance of the Plan will be treated as follows:
1. upgroupings - Article 7.04(a)
2. downgroupings - Article 7.03(a) 5.
(b) It is agreed that salary treatment for employees covered by the implementation of the Plan who are currently in receipt of special salary treatment (i.e. - blue circle or red circle) shall continue to receive such treatment.
Salary Treatment if the range is identical, then placed step-on-step;
Salary Treatment. Regular employees affected by this Article who are placed in lower level positions shall receive salary treatment under Subsection 7.06(c).

b) Those employees who were downgrouped prior to May 1, 1989 and were red circled, shall receive blue circle salary treatment. Salary Treatment. Where at the time of the grade change the employee’s salary is equal to or higher than the scale maximum of the lower graded position, his/her salary will:
Salary Treatment. The CTPI is added to base pay and forms part of the employee’s pay for the purposes of pension, benefits, overtime, etc. • Salary administration for promotions, acting pay, demotions, etc., will be based on the CTPI adjusted rate of an employee.
