Common use of Telephone consultations Clause in Contracts

Telephone consultations. The compensation set forth in this Article shall only be payable in circumstances where a telephone call made or received by a member is with respect to consultation, advice, direction and/or guidance sought from that member (a “call”). Members who are contacted by telephone while off duty for any other reason than consultation, advice, direction and/or guidance sought from that member (e.g. notifications or cancellations) will not be compensated for the telephone call.
