Temporary Assignment to a Higher Class. ‌ An employee assigned by the County to perform the majority of duties of a higher classification to fill a vacancy caused by resignation, termination, promotion or an extended leave of absence, must complete the required personnel forms and must meet the minimum qualifications of the higher classification.
