Temporary Duty Elsewhere Leave. 1. Upon prior approval by the Superintendent, leave with pay may be granted for employees to be temporarily away from their regular duties for the purpose of providing other educational services, participating in surveys, meetings, study courses and workshops; chaperoning student groups, or participating in other activities at the discretion of the Superintendent. 2. It is the intent of this provision that such leave be granted only for activities which the Board determines will serve to benefit the Orange County Public School System.
