Temporary Reappointment Rights. 3.6.1 Temporary employees will have the right of first refusal to all extensions and temporary vacancies in their posted positions, providing their performance has been satisfactory. 3.6.2 Except as provided for in Clause 16.6.2, reappointment will also apply to any casual work which may occur on a day-to-day basis. 3.6.3 The right of first refusal will be in effect for a period of 3 months from the expiry of their last appointment in the positions. 3.6.4 Employees will keep Human Resources advised of their availability on a biweekly basis. 3.6.5 Refusal of a reappointment offer, without reasonable grounds, will result in the loss of this right.
