Tensile test. The tensile properties of welded steel in the inner vessel shall be tested in accordance with EN 895:1995 and EN 6892-1:2009.
Tensile test. The tensile strength, yield strength and percentage elongation of steel shall be determined from standard test pieces cut either lengthwise or crosswise from plates. The tests shall be carried out on the standard test piece prepared in accordance with test edition of IS 1608 or its international equivalent standard. The tensile strength, yield strength and percentage elongation of steel should not be less than the specified values in Table 4-5. Only proportional test piece complying with the requirement Lo = 5.65√So should be used for the tensile test, where Lo is the gauge length and So is the cross-sectional area of the test piece. Number of Tensile Tests - For every 500 tons of finished steel, one tensile test shall be conducted.
Tensile test. The finished stay sets when subject to tensile test shall comply with the requirement of the tensile strength as per the table given below: X.Xx. Diameter of rods Breaking load

  • Test The outer surface of the lamp lenses shall be subjected once or more than once to the action of the sand jet produced as described above. The jet shall be sprayed almost perpendicular to the surface to be tested. The deterioration shall be checked by means of one or more samples of glass placed as a reference near the lenses to be tested. The mixture shall be sprayed until the variation in the diffusion of light on the sample or samples measured by the method described in Appendix 2, is such that: Δ d = (T5 - T4) / T2 ≤ 0.0250 ± 0.0025 Several reference samples may be used to check that the whole surface to be tested has deteriorated homogeneously.
