Common use of Tenure-Track or Probationary Faculty Clause in Contracts

Tenure-Track or Probationary Faculty. Full-time annually-contracted faculty who are appointed for a designated period of time and whose appointment may be terminated without cause upon expiration of the tenure candidate’s term of employment, but may not be terminated without cause prior to the expiration of the terms of employment as defined by the laws of the State of Washington and this Agreement.
