Common use of Term of Parental Leave Clause in Contracts

Term of Parental Leave. In the event of a leave which commences during the first semester, the leave may extend for the balance of that school year. In the event of a leave which commences after March 15, the leave may be extended for the balance of that semester and the following school year. A parental leave of absence may be extended for an additional semester or school year, due to special circumstances, or upon approval of the Superintendent.
