Termination by the County for Cause. 9.2.1 The County, upon certification by the County Contract Representative, without prejudice to any other right or remedy of the County and after giving the Contractor seven (7) days written notice, may terminate this Contract as to all or any part of the Work for any of the following reasons:

If the Company persistently disregards laws, ordinances, or rules, regulations or orders of a public authority having jurisdiction; or is guilty of any other material breach of a provision of the Contract Documents, the County may, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies of the County, provide written notice of termination of the Contract Documents and subsequently terminate the Contract Documents seven (7) days after said written notice and may accept assignment of subcontracts as provided herein; or finish the Work by whatever reasonable method the County may deem expedient.
