Termination of Sick Leave. 25 An employee who has been placed on paid or unpaid sick leave may return to duty at any time 26 during the leave, provided that he/she is able to resume the assigned duties and if the leave has 27 been for more than twenty (20) working days, provided that he/she has notified the District of 28 his/her return at least three (3) working days in advance. 29 30 lf at the conclusion of all sick leave and additional leave, paid or unpaid granted under these 31 rules, the employee is still unable to assume the duties of his/her position, he/she will be placed 32 on a reemployment list a period of thirty-nine (39) months in the same manner as if he/she were 33 laid off for lack of work or lack of funds. 34
