TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION OF THE CONTRACT. 12.1Termination by Contractor. 12.1.1 In General.
TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION OF THE CONTRACT. SUSPENSION OF WORK The Work or any portion thereof may be suspended at any time by the Owner provided that the Owner gives the Contractor written notice of the suspension. The notice shall set forth the date on which the Work is to be suspended and the date on which the Work is to be resumed. The Contractor shall resume the work upon written notice from the Owner within ten days after the date set forth in the notice of suspension. The Owner will have the authority to suspend the Work, wholly or in part, for such period of time as deemed necessary. The suspension may be due to unsuitable weather, or such other conditions as are considered unfavorable for the proper prosecution of the work, or the failure on the part of the Contractor to fulfill the provisions of the Contract. Failure to supply material, equipment, or workmanship meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents shall be just cause for suspension of the Work. The Contractor shall not have the right to suspend operations without the Design Professional or Owner's permission.
