Texas Teacher Retirement System. For performance of Superintendent duties, the District shall supplement the Superintendent's salary by an amount equal to the Superintendent's portion of the member contribution to the Texas Teacher Retirement System (“TRS”) during the Term of this Contract, including any extensions thereof. This supplement shall include both the retirement and TRS-Care parts of the TRS member contribution, as applicable. This additional salary supplement for services rendered shall be paid to the Superintendent in regular monthly payroll installments and shall be reported as "creditable compensation" by the District for purposes of TRS, to the extent permitted by TRS.

Texas Teacher Retirement System. (TRS). The District shall supplement the Superintendent’s annual salary, for performance of the Superintendent duties, by an amount equal to the Superintendent’s portion of the monthly member contribution to TRS for the term of this Contract, including any extensions. This salary supplement shall include both the retirement and TRS-Care parts of the TRS member contribution, as applicable. This additional salary supplement shall be paid to the Superintendent by regular monthly payroll installments and shall be reported as creditable compensation to TRS. This benefit shall be effective November 14, 2023.
Texas Teacher Retirement System. The District shall make the Superintendent’s portion of the monthly contribution to the Texas Teacher Retirement System on behalf of the Superintendent in the percentage amount required by the Texas Teacher Retirement System for the account of the Superintendent.

  • Public Employees Retirement System “PERS”) Members. For purposes of this Section 1, “employee” means an employee who is employed by the State on August 28, 2003 and who is eligible to receive benefits under ORS Chapter 238 for service with the State pursuant to Section 2 of Chapter 733, Oregon Laws 2003.

  • Retirement System The withdrawal of employee contributions made on or after January 1, 2014 may also be withdrawn but only on an actuarially neutral basis. The actuarial present value of the pension reduction shall be equal to the amount of accumulated member contributions withdrawn.   • EMPLOYMENT OF RETIRED TEACHERS In the event the Board employs a retired teacher (as used herein, “retired teacher”) for a regular teaching position, the following shall apply:

  • Retirement Program Any employee employed prior to October 1, 1977, working at least seventy (70) hours per month shall by law be a member of the Washington Public Employees Retirement system (PERS) Plan One. Any employee working at least seventy (70) hours per month, entering employment on or after October 1, 1977, shall by law be a member of the School Employees Retirement System, Plan Two or Three. The District shall provide each new employee information concerning PERS or SERS membership benefits.
