The Charts. The three values ∆V, ∆C and %V were used in order to draw charts similar to the ones presented in [8]. They are all shown in figure 2 below. The error bars represent the standard deviation between the measures of the two subjects. As a general rule, we can say that stress-timed and syllable-timed languages occupy different portions of the charts. However, the chart where a division between the two rhythmic groups is most clearly visible is the one including ∆C vs. %V, while in the other two (showing ∆V vs. ∆C and vs. %V) the difference is less evident. This is due to the fact that the values of %V and particularly of ∆V are slightly different from what had been expected. Namely, ∆V seems to be extremely high in the recordings of the Italian female speaker and of both French speakers, while it is lower than expected in American English. As for %V, its value seems to be too high in German.

  • Manuals Each product delivered under contract to any Customer must be delivered with at least one (1) copy of a safety and operating manual and any other technical or maintenance manual. The cost of the manual(s) must be included in the price for the Product offered.

You agree that we, the Manager and our designees will have no liability due to any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form that may occur in taking or usage of any picture or in the subsequent processing or publication of the picture. You release us, the Manager, and our designees from all claims of any nature arising in any way from the use of your photograph or photographic image. This release contains the entire agreement on this subject matter.

  • Specifications That part of the Contract Documents consisting of written requirements for materials, equipment, systems, standards, and workmanship as applied to the Work, and certain administrative requirements and procedural matters applicable thereto.   • DAF Specifications Developer shall submit initial specifications for the DAF, including System Protection Facilities, to Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO at least one hundred eighty (180) Calendar Days prior to the Initial Synchronization Date; and final specifications for review and comment at least ninety (90) Calendar Days prior to the Initial Synchronization Date. Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO shall review such specifications to ensure that the DAF are compatible with the technical specifications, operational control, and safety requirements of the Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO and comment on such specifications within thirty (30) Calendar Days of Developer’s submission. All specifications provided hereunder shall be deemed to be Confidential Information.
