Common use of The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Clause in Contracts

The Joint Apprenticeship and Training. Committee designated herein shall serve for the life of this Agreement, except that vacancies in said Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee caused by resignation or otherwise, may be filled by either party hereto and it is hereby mutually agreed by both parties hereto, that they will individually and collectively cooperate to the extent that duly qualified apprentices be given every opportunity to secure proper technical and practical education experience in the trade, under the supervision of the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. (a) The parties will review the need for specialized and skills upgrade training and cooperate to establish necessary programs which will then be supervised by the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee.
