Taking of Long Service Leave (a) The employer shall give to each employee at least one month's notice of the date from which it is proposed that the employee's long service leave shall be given and taken. Such leave shall be taken as soon as practicable having regard to the needs of the facility, or, where the employer and the employee agree, such leave may be postponed to an agreed date.
Long Service Leave All employees shall be entitled to long service leave in accordance with the relevant State Legislation. The employer will ensure that any registration necessary for the purposes of portable long service schemes will be undertaken.
Military Service Leave The Employer and the Union agree that the matter of leave of absence for an employee during the period of his/her military service with the armed forces of the United States, and of his/her reinstatement thereafter, shall be governed by applicable statutes.
Pregnancy and Maternity Services This plan covers physician services and the services of a licensed midwife for prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. The first office visit to diagnose a pregnancy is not included in prenatal services. This plan covers hospital services for mother and newborn child for at least forty-eight
Emergency Service Leave Where employees' services are required for emergency operations by request from the Provincial Emergency Program or appropriate police authority, leave from work as required may be granted without loss of basic pay. If any remuneration, other than for expenses, is received, it shall be remitted to the Employer.
Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.
Provisioning of Line Sharing and Splitter Space 3.2.1 BellSouth will provide ONS with access to the High Frequency Spectrum as follows:
Citizen Volunteer or Community Service Leave Leave without pay may be granted for community volunteerism or service.
Miscellaneous Leaves L31.1 Application for Miscellaneous Leave shall be made to the Executive Superintendent of Employee Services or designate. The Teacher shall notify the principal at the time the application is made and whenever possible shall make the application at least five days prior to the day for which the leave is requested.
Portability of Sick Leave 1. The employer will accept up to sixty (60) accumulated sick leave days from other school districts in British Columbia, for employees hired to or on exchange in the district.
