TIME AND ONE-HALF AND DOUBLE TIME. Overtime is to be worked only when required. Instructions for and approval of overtime must be received from the employee’s immediate supervisor prior to working overtime. (a) Time and one-half of the employee’s regular rate of pay shall be paid for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one (1) day or for over forty (40) hours in any one (1) week, whichever results in the greater amount of pay. (b) Double the employee’s regular rate of pay shall be paid for all time worked on Sunday or any of the paid holidays enumerated in Article VII of this Agreement.
