Common use of TIME AND ONE-HALF AND DOUBLE TIME Clause in Contracts

TIME AND ONE-HALF AND DOUBLE TIME. A. Time and one-half will be paid for all hours worked over eight (8) in one day or over forty (40) hours in a scheduled work week. B. Double time will be paid as follows: a. For all hours worked on Sundays. b. For all hours worked on holidays that are defined in this Agreement in addition to holiday pay. C. Straight time shall be paid to employees working regularly assigned hours and shifts on Saturday and Sunday. This provision is exclusive of regularly assigned weekend building checks when said checks are in addition to the employee’s regular work week.
