Common use of Time Off for Meeting Clause in Contracts

Time Off for Meeting. Any representative of the Union on the Labour/Management Committee, who is in the employ of the College, shall have the privilege of attending Committee meetings without loss of remuneration.

Time Off for Meeting. Any representative of the Union on the Labour/Management Committee, labour management joint Committees who is in the employ of the CollegeEmployer, shall have the privilege of attending joint Committee meetings held within working hours without loss of remuneration.

Employees must receive permission from their Departmental Head to be absent from the work place. This also applies to preparatory meetings of a reasonable duration.
