Tool Reimbursement. A unit member who is authorized by the District to use his/her own personal tools in the performance of assigned duties shall be reimbursed for lost, damage, stolen tools or new upgraded tools, subject to the following provisions:
10.5.1 Such reimbursement shall apply only to tools included on a current inventory and new/upgraded tools necessary, approved by the immediate supervisor.
10.5.2 The reimbursement shall be limited to the replacement value as approved by the supervisor on the above current inventory, less any insurance reimbursement received by the employee. Any new tool must be added to the inventory list.
10.5.3 No reimbursement shall be provided for tools lost, damaged, or stolen due to negligence on the part of the employee.
Tool Reimbursement. Provision
Tool Reimbursement a) On June 1st of each year, the Company agrees to reimburse all Trades employees, upon presentation of proof of purchase, up to the amount of $525.00 towards the purchase of new tools.
b) In the event of a tool being damaged through the normal course of work, the employee will first seek replacement from the supplier and if not successful, the tool will be replaced by the Company.
Tool Reimbursement. Employees in the title Heavy Equipment Mechanic shall be eligible for a tool reimbursement in the amount of $800.00 as of their anniversary date. Employees shall submit receipts of the tool purchase to their supervisor, who will approve and process a voucher for reimbursement to be paid through Accounts Payable. This allowance will also be granted to any other employee required to purchase their own tools.
Tool Reimbursement. It is mutually understood and agreed that the “standard of the industry” is the practice of mechanics providing their own hand tools and toolboxes and that this standard will be adhered to within the City of Xxxxxxx. Nevertheless, to provide for technological updating, general usage, and replacement of personally owned tools, each employee holding the classification of fire mechanic or fire apparatus supervisor with responsibility for providing personal hand tools and toolboxes is entitled to a tool reimbursement for the actual cost of tools and toolboxes purchased for use on the job, including sales tax, of up to Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($960) per calendar year. In the event an employee purchases tools or toolboxes exceeding $960 in any given calendar year, reimbursement will be made only for $960. Employees desiring a reimbursement are required to submit an expense reimbursement form (available on the intranet) signed by both the employee and the employee’s supervisor to the City’s Payroll Department prior to end of the calendar year. Once approved, the reimbursement will be included on the employee’s regular paycheck. An employee who fails to submit a receipt will not be reimbursed.
Tool Reimbursement. The Company will reimburse up to One-Hundred Twenty Dollars ($120.00) to each Maintenance employee (Millwright, Electrician, Mobile Mechanic and Machinist) with at least one year of continuous service in the maintenance department on the date of reimbursement which will be July 1st of each year of the Agreement, if original receipts are provided at least two weeks prior to July 1st.
Tool Reimbursement. Effective upon the date of signature of this Agreement by both parties, non-probationary employees in the positions of Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Service Worker, and Land Management Mechanic covered by this Agreement shall be eligible for an annual tool reimbursement. Said reimbursement shall be up to $1,200 for the Automotive Mechanics and $350 for the Automotive Service Worker and Land Management Mechanic positions per calendar year, upon presenting receipts of tool purchases to their respective supervisors. Any employee receiving such allowance shall refund to the City any tool allowance amount paid by the City on a pro rata basis for any time period between such employee's separation of employment from the City and the end of the calendar year. City may deduct such refund amount from such employee's pay.
Tool Reimbursement. The employer will provide a Three Hundred Dollar ($300.00) annual reimbursement allowance to all employees in Job Code 262. The allowance will be paid to employees who turn in the tool being replaced and a receipt for the replacement tool.
Tool Reimbursement a) An “Employee provided Required Tool List” for each position with different tool requirements will be developed and maintained jointly by the Company and Union. Employees are required to have the tools specified on the applicable list available for use at work whenever the employee is present. Tools are to be kept in acceptable condition at all times. The Company will provide tools for specialized operations.
Tool Reimbursement. 23.01 Journeyman Production Equipment Maintenance Men, Journeyman Electricians and Journeyman Auto Mechanic shall maintain their own tool kits. Subject to pre-approval by the Maintenance Manager and upon presentation of an original receipt for expenses, the Company will reimburse employees in the above classifications up to an annual maximum of $500 for the purchase of required work tools.
