TRAINING/RETRAINING. (a) Any training/retraining is subject to the provisions under Article 5(e). (b) Any training or re-training must be offered to all full-time employees before being offered to part- time employees (two (2) weeks of initial job function training the exception). (c) The Employer and the Union recognize the value of a well-trained work force in which employees possess the skills necessary to carry out the duties demanded by their job. Employees who have reached the job rate are presumed to have the necessary skill and ability to do that job.
