Transfer Assignment and Pledge. The User shall not assign, sell, convey, or otherwise transfer this agreement, or any of its rights or obligations thereunder, without prior written consent of the TSTRANSCO / TSDISCOM (whichever is applicable). In case this agreement is assigned, it shall be only for the purpose of title transfer and not for the purpose of trade. The assignee or other transferee shall assume all duties and obligations arising from and after the time of the consent to transfer by TSTRANSCO / TSDISCOM (whichever is applicable), but such assignment or transfer shall not release the assigning or transferring user from its duties and obligations unless specifically provided in the written consent and in the assignment, conveyance or transfer document.
