Common use of Transfer of Credits Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Credits. ‌ If an employee is transferred to another division or department, any unused hourly vacation credits which he/she may have accumulated shall continue to be available for his/her use. In the case of death, resignation or layoff of an employee, there shall be paid to his/her widow or other beneficiary as provided by statute, in addition to back pay then due, an amount that will compensate him/her for hourly vacation leave which has accrued in accordance with this article.
