Transfers Due to Layoffs. A full-time employee, with two or more years of continuous full-time employment who is more than ten miles due to a layoff, may write a letter to the Manager, Industrial Relations as set out in Article and such employee will given preference for a transfer back into the area from which he was transferred when a vacancy in his or her job function occurs.
