Common use of Transfers to a Higher Rated Classification Clause in Contracts

Transfers to a Higher Rated Classification. If an Employee is transferred to a higher rated classification, the Employee will receive in the new classification the next rate above the Employee’s present rate and will progress within the scale for such higher rated classification according to the straight time hours paid within such higher rated classification subsequent to the date of transfer.
