Common use of Transport for Call-Back Duty Clause in Contracts

Transport for Call-Back Duty. Transport for call-back duty where an employee who does not reside in DHB accommodation is called back to work outside the employee’s normal hours of duty in respect of work which could not be foreseen or prearranged, the employer shall either: a) Provide the employee with transport from the employee’s place of residence to the workplace and to the place of residence from the workplace; or b) Reimburse the employee the actual and reasonable travelling expenses incurred in travelling from the employee’s place of residence to the workplace or from the workplace to the employee’s place of residence or both travelling to and from the workplace as per Clause 19.0.
