Penal Rates Sample Clauses

Penal Rates. (a) Weekend rate - applies to ordinary time (other than overtime) worked after midnight Friday/Saturday until midnight Sunday/Monday shall be paid at time one half (T0.5) in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay. (b) Public Holiday rate – applies to those hours which are worked on the public holiday. This shall be paid at time one (T1) in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay. (See clause 12.4-12.8 for further clarification.) (c) Night rate – applies to ordinary hours of duty (other than overtime) that fall between 2000hrs and until the completion of a rostered night duty from midnight Sunday/Monday to midnight Friday/Saturday and shall be paid at quarter time (T0.25) in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay. (d) Overtime and weekend/public holiday or night rates shall not be paid in respect of the same hours, the higher rate will apply.

Penal RatesSaturday morningapplies to ordinary time (other than overtime) worked after midnight Friday/Saturday until midday Saturday. In addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay, the employee shall be paid at time one half (T0.5) for the first three hours, and then time one (T1.0).
Penal RatesPenal Time shall be paid at the following rates in addition to normal salary: From midnight Friday /Saturday to midday Saturday at half the normal hourly rate of pay (T-1/2) for the first three hours and at the normal hourly rate of pay (T1) thereafter.
Penal RatesFrom Midnight Friday/Saturday to 0600 hours Saturday, those staff who work on shifts that span these hours shall be paid at T1 for all hours worked.
Penal Rates. 13.1 The following penal rates in addition to the ordinary rate shall apply to hours worked (i) Night shift rate - 25% (T0.25) The night rate applies to ordinary hours of work (other than overtime) that fall between 8.00pm and 6.00am from midnight Sunday/Monday to midnight Friday/Saturday (ii) Weekend rate– 50% (T0.50) The weekend rate applies to ordinary hours of work worked after midnight Friday/Saturday until midnight Sunday/Monday. (iii) Public holiday rate -100% (T1) The public holiday rate applies to all hours of work worked on a public holiday. 13.2 Overtime and penal rates shall not be paid in respect to the same hours. The higher rate will apply. 13.3 The night and weekend penal rates shall not apply to home support workers. The penal allowances for night and weekend work are set out in Appendix 4.
