Common use of Travel Conditions Clause in Contracts

Travel Conditions. i) Employees required to travel shall be reimbursed for receipted expenses incurred in the course of their duties. Meal allowances will be paid as per Article 27.09 (a). ii) Employees will be provided reasonable stopover time where required, in view of fatigue occasioned by international travel. Guidelines shall be established by the Joint Committee. iii) Hours of work for employees on travel shall not be more than six (6) hours per day, exclusive of meal periods, or not more than sixty (60) hours per two-week period, except that working hours need not be prescribed within set periods on the clock but should meet the requirements of the assignments.
