Trenches Five Feet and Deeper. Pursuant to Labor Code §6705, if the Contract price exceeds $25,000 and involves the excavation of any trench or trenches five (5) feet or more in depth, the Contractor shall, in advance of excavation, promptly submit to the District and/or a registered civil or structural engineer employed by the District or Project Manager, a detailed plan showing the design of shoring for protection from the hazard of caving ground during the excavation of such trench or trenches.

Trenches Five Feet and Deeper. Pursuant to Labor Code §6705, if the Contract price exceeds $25,000 and involves the excavation of any trench or trenches five (5) feet or more in depth, the Contractor shall, in advance of excavation, promptly submit to MVCS and/or a registered civil or structural engineer employed by MVCS or Project Manager, a detailed plan showing the design of shoring for protection from the hazard of caving ground during the excavation of such trench or trenches.

  • Construction Phase Fee Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee is the maximum amount payable to Contractor for any cost or profit expectation incurred in the performance of the Work that is not specifically identified as being eligible for reimbursement by Owner elsewhere in this Agreement. References in the UGSC to Contractor’s “overhead” and “profit” mean Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee. The Construction Phase Fee includes, but is not limited to, the following items:

Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.
