Tuberculosis Examination. (a) An x-ray of the chest or a tuberculin skin test shall be required of each employee every four (4) years (unless otherwise specified by law) and the results of such examination shall be filed with the Human Resources Office. If the tuberculin skin test shows a "positive" reaction the employee shall be required to have a chest x-ray examination. The cost of such examination(s) shall be paid by the District providing that it is administered by a medical facility retained by the District for this purpose. (b) If the examination results in a finding that the employee is suspected of having active tuberculosis, the employee shall be immediately released of all duties, granted any paid leave benefits to which the employee may be entitled under Article 11 and shall be reinstated only after conclusive evidence is presented that the employee is free of active tuberculosis.
