Common use of Tuberculosis Exposure Control Program Clause in Contracts

Tuberculosis Exposure Control Program. All employees working in patient care areas will be provided PPD screenings in accordance with Swedish Medical Center policy. Employees in high risk areas may be screened more frequently. Any employee who is a PPD converter as a result of an occupational exposure will be referred to a Public Health physician or appropriate medical specialist for follow up, including preventive therapy at no cost to the employee. It is the employee's responsibility to get their TB test timely in accordance with Swedish's Employee Health policy. Employees will be provided between thirty (30) and sixty (60) days advance notice of the need to get a TB test.
