Types of APEs. This Agreement addresses the following four types of effects that may be deemed adverse to historic properties: (1) direct effects; (2) visual, audible, or atmospheric effects; (3) indirect effects; and (4) cumulative effects. Examples of adverse effects in 36 C.F.R. § 800.5(a)(2) could be considered as either direct or indirect as defined in this Agreement. The APEs for the GWD Project cover all areas where the GWD Project may directly, visually, indirectly, or cumulatively cause an adverse effect as defined in this Agreement to one or more historic properties.
