Types of Board of Education Meetings. The Superintendent shall provide a copy of the agenda, with adequate data and background information, to each Board of Education member at least 48 hours before each meeting, except a meeting held in the event of an emergency.   • Meetings of Committee The Committee shall meet up to six (6) times per year. Additional meetings may be scheduled upon agreement of the co-chairpersons. Its members shall receive a notice and agenda of the meeting at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the meeting. Employees shall not suffer any loss of pay for time spent with this Committee. Meetings will be held within fourteen (14) calendar days of the request to meet.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.
