Underground Robot. BADGER underground robot is composed by a series of modules containing systems with different functionalities. Then, each module is one link of the robot. Consecutive modules are connected by one joint with two main functionalities: propulsion and steering. This hardware architecture is not closed and can be extended adding more modules depending on the necessities. Figure 1 presents the default design with the minimum number of modules required. This system is composed by four modules and three joints. From left to right, we can find the drilling head which is the main module of the system. The next two are service modules containing electronics, clamping systems, control units, etc. The last module is the printing unit for producing a 3D printed pipe.   • Underground Utilities Any required ground digging or subsurface work shall be done in accordance with Chapter 556, Florida Statutes. It shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR to have all underground utilities located before any work begins (Sunshine State One Call 0-000-000-0000). The repairs of any damaged underground utilities as a result of the work being performed by CONTRACTOR shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR. The proper utility company shall be contacted immediately to expedite the repairs, if damage has occurred. CONTRACTOR will notify the COUNTY and provide a written explanation of the incident within two (2) days of the damage to any underground utilities.

  • Underground Facilities All underground pipelines, conduits, ducts, cables, wires, manholes, vaults, tanks, tunnels, or other such facilities or attachments, and any encasements containing such facilities, including without limitation those that convey electricity, gases, steam, liquid petroleum products, telephone or other communications, cable television, water, wastewater, storm water, other liquids or chemicals, or traffic or other control systems.

  • UNDERGROUND LOCATIONS Prior to the Company commencing any work the Customer must advise the Company of the precise location of all underground services on the site and clearly xxxx the location. The underground mains and services the Customer must identify include, but are not limited to, telephone cables, fibre optic cables, electrical services, gas services, sewer services, pumping services, sewer connections, sewer sludge mains, water mains, irrigations pipes, oil pumping mains and any other services that may be on site. Whilst the Company will take all care to avoid damage to any underground services the Customer agrees to indemnify the Company in respect of all any liability claims, loss, damage, cost and fines as a result of damage to services not precisely located and notified pursuant to this clause.

  • Pipelines Developer shall have no interest in the pipeline gathering system, which gathering system shall remain the sole property of Operator or its Affiliates and shall be maintained at their sole cost and expense.

  • Surface  Grade and shape the road surface, turnouts, and shoulders to the original shape on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET. Inslope or outslope as directed to provide a smooth, rut-free traveled surface and maintain surface water runoff in an even, unconcentrated manner.  Blading shall not undercut the backslope or cut into geotextile fabric on the road.  If required by the Contract Administrator, water shall be applied as necessary to control dust and retain fine surface rock.  Surface material shall not be bladed off the roadway. Replace surface material when lost or worn away, or as directed by the Contract Administrator.  Remove shoulder berms, created by grading, to facilitate drainage, except as marked or directed by the Contract Administrator.  For roads with geotextile fabric: spread surface aggregate to fill in soft spots and wheel ruts (barrel spread) to prevent damage to the geotextile fabric.

  • Groundwater The groundwater shall not be degraded as a result of the waste maintained at the facility.
